If you would have told me 10 years ago for my 33rd birthday I would be this excited over a fruit tree I would have never believed you! As far back as I can remember my Mom and Dad have dabbled in gardening, mostly flower pots and landscape projects, but I didn’t take much interest in it until the last 5 years or so. I wish I would have started sooner but I do enjoy the gardening bond I now share with my parents, even if I developed it a little later in life.
Sooooooo for my birthday, my parents gifted me with my first fruit tree…a Dwarf Peach “Bonanza”. It only reaches 5-6 ft at maturity which makes the planting possibilities endless! You really can fit it anywhere. The tree bears standard-sized fruit and does not require other pollinating trees. In Spring, the blooms are a gorgeous pink color that later yield delicious peaches!

I quickly got it planted in our front yard and plan on underplanting with some bright annuals. I know we are going to enjoy this gift for many years to come. Thanks, Mom and Dad! I love it so much!
