Grandma Nina’s Ginger Ball Cookies

This recipe comes from a friend of mine, Rose Starr. (Thanks, Rose) It’s her Grandma’s recipe that I’ve adopted and used over and over again. The flavor in these cookies remind me of Fall but can be made for any season! They are a crowd pleaser! ⬇️

Preheat oven to 350°

Sift together:

3 1/2 c flour

2 tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt

1 tsp ground cloves

2 tsp ground ginger

2 tsp ground cinnamon

Cream in mixer:

1 1/2 c Crisco

2 c sugar

add 2 eggs

4 Tbsp molasses

Add flour to mixer. Roll into small balls. (I use a small cookie scoop) Roll in sugar. Bake for 7-8 minutes for soft cookies, longer for crunchy ones. Cool on baking sheet.

Blessings, Jolie 🌼
